Law Subject Committee met in Greifswald

On the 12th and 13th of November the Law Subject Committee convened in Greifswald. Participation numbers were very good, with all active universities being represented: Besides Limerick, Greifswald, Örebro and Lodz, also the European Humanities University (EHU) which is now located in Vilnius took part in the meeting after having been absent due to the transfer of the EHU from Minsk to Vilnius. As a newcomer, the University of Novi Sad was welcomed to the committee.

The main aim of the meeting was to implement the 2008 Global Strategy Action Plan and start preparations for the student exchange to be continued in 2006/2007. The members present agreed to exchange at least two students per link which will be a total of 40 students. Only the EHU, due to its limited recourses during the process of building up the new structure in Vilnius, will not start sending and receiving students before 2007/2008. Existing compatibility matrices were updated and amended to include new members. The committee is confident to have compatibility matrices ready to be published on the CE-webpage by mid-December. The next meeting will be held at the end of February 2006.
